Okay… so yesterday I participated in the Falling For Fiction (aka FFF) Hookers and Hangers blogfest. When I came into work this morning (I only have time to blog at work – shhhh don’t tell) I pulled up my page and viewed all of these awesome and wonderful comments. Then what I try to do is make it to each one of these remarkable bloggers’ pages and leave a comment (if I haven’t already).
I notice that Kyra Lennon had posted something about WRiTE CLUB hosted by DL Hammons. Now DL (or as my brain reads it – Down Low – No joke; my brain really reads his name as “Keep-it-on-the-Down-Low" Hammons) is one of my favorites to follow. His posts are helpful, informative, and funny.
Now, this is the second year for WRiTE CLUB and being as I’m about to hit my 1st year blogiversary in August… it’s my first year hearing about it. Soooo, after my heart started racing causing me some serious heart palpitations and a slight cause of angina, I decided to participate.
The rules are simple… I think. I still haven’t had my caffeine this morning so it seems easy anyways. If you are interested in WRiTE CLUB please click on any of the WRiTE CLUB's in this post for more info and rules.Do I plan on being the next Tyler Durden? Nope... I'm just planning on having fun!
YAY! Glad to see so many people signing up for this!ReplyDelete
Thanks for posting about it!Delete
Sounds like fun. I'll have to check it out. Thx!ReplyDelete
You should! I think it'll be fun!Delete
I saw this thanks to Kyra, too! I haven't decided if I'm going to do it yet. Because I'm a BIG chicken. :/ReplyDelete
It's Anon so that's the only reason why I'm doing it. No one will know who is who so it makes it fun! You should try it! Your stuff is the bomb!Delete
I've seen this popping up everywhere as well, but like Jackie I haven't decided whether I dare take part yet! :)ReplyDelete
Hope you do... I can't wait to see what gets posted!Delete
You ROCK...angina and all! :) Thank you for this. I just want to say to all those readers who are on the fence...1) You don't have to decide right away, come by and vote for a couple rounds and then you can submit, and 2) If you have any aspirations to being published at all, then having your work judged anonymously is a great way to break the ice.ReplyDelete
WRiTE CLUB is all about the words! :)
This is awesome! I thought about it, but I think I'll enjoy reading the entries this year. Good luck to you! It is exciting.ReplyDelete
When I was a year or two into blogging I was hesitant to join blog events, but now i love them.ReplyDelete
I'll be reading the entries this year.
Wish my computer wasn't retarded. I've been missing out. left you a photo on my most recent blog. i saw this sign in a shop and instantly thought of you. I should have bought it and mailed it to you.
