Express Yourself - MBTI, Movember, and Winning

Express Yourself  is a weekly meme hosted by myself and Jackie. It's goal is to help our fellow bloggers get to know one another better by being nosey of course.

What makes you tick? What inspires you to write? How is the outside world influencing you? Whether it be a quote, a list of favorite things/people, a question, a song, and so on. Each week we will find something different to post about. It will correlate with writing, blogging, and life in general. Then, we hope, you’ll follow suit and post what it is that motivates you.
This weeks question...

Nov 10-14: Do you know your MBTI personality? If so, please share. If not, go take the test, please!

My MBTI is: INFJ - Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Judging (Introverted Intuition with Extraverted Feeling)

Dominant: Introverted Intuition
Auxiliary: Extraverted Feeling
Tertiary: Introverted Thinking
Inferior: Extraverted Sensing

INFJs are gentle, caring, complex and highly intuitive individuals. Artistic and creative, they live in a world of hidden meanings and possibilities. Only one percent of the population has an INFJ Personality Type, making it the most rare of all the types.

INFJs place great importance on havings things orderly and systematic in their outer world. They put a lot of energy into identifying the best system for getting things done, and constantly define and re-define the priorities in their lives. On the other hand, INFJs operate within themselves on an intuitive basis which is entirely spontaneous. They know things intuitively, without being able to pinpoint why, and without detailed knowledge of the subject at hand. They are usually right, and they usually know it. Consequently, INFJs put a tremendous amount of faith into their instincts and intuitions. This is something of a conflict between the inner and outer worlds, and may result in the INFJ not being as organized as other Judging types tend to be.

INFJs have uncanny insight into people and situations. They get "feelings" about things and intuitively understand them. As an extreme example, some INFJs report experiences of a psychic nature, such as getting strong feelings about there being a problem with a loved one, and discovering later that they were in a car accident. (This actually happened when my brother passed - I had nightmares every night for week up until it happened.)

But the INFJ is as genuinely warm as they are complex. INFJs hold a special place in the heart of people who they are close to, who are able to see their special gifts and depth of caring. INFJs are concerned for people's feelings, and try to be gentle to avoid hurting anyone. Because the INFJ has such strong intuitive capabilities, they trust their own instincts above all else. This may result in an INFJ stubbornness and tendency to ignore other people's opinions.

Movember(Mo Bros take action by changing their appearance by growing a moustache for the 30 days of Movember, to spark conversation and raise funds. Mo Sistas commit to supporting the men in their lives while helping to promote men’s health.)

So my husband is all about showing support for Movember but usually it's a full blown beard... ugh... this year he went for the straight mustache and I HATE IT!!!!!!!! I am not a fan of them whatsoever! Absolutely not a fan, especially on my man. BUT... I have to be supportive so I became a Mo Sista...

Winning! Over at Parajunkie I won an amazing Red Psi (there were 5 different Psi giveaways) set of The Darkest Minds prize pack which includes a candle, tote bag and the complete trilogy! I loved the first installment of TDM so I'm so excited to get the other two!

What is your MBTI ?!
What have you been you to lately?!

  5. I enjoyed taking the personality test! It was so much fun! The INTJ result I got is also a fairly rare type, and the most rare among women. I guess that might help explain why I had trouble fitting in as a child.

As for J Lenni Dorner, anyone who shares a personality type with Daryl Dixon has to be awesome!
