Fast Five Book to TV/Film Characters

Fast Five Friday is a weekly blog hop created by, us, Cover Girls. Revolving around lists of five, its purpose is to connect with writers, readers, viewers, and bloggers.

Sept. 16: 5 Book Characters Who You Liked Better In The TV/Film Than In The Book?

Just a little note: This is a really hard question in general, cause the books are always better, but I think the actors did a wonderful job bringing these characters to life.

Jonas - The Giver
Thomas - The Maze Runner Saga
Professor Snape - Harry Potter
Man (father) - The Road
Louis de Pointe du Lac - Interview With A Vampire

Who Do You Associate With?

Hey Blogging Friends! Express Yourself is a weekly meme. It's goal is to help our fellow bloggers get to know one another better, to help motivate one another, laugh (or cry) together, in other words – stalk.

Aug. 17-21: Do you have a book or TV character you can relate to?

Sure, who doesn't? I have tons.

Kate Austen from Lost - a little bit of a bad girl but for all the right reasons. Though everything on the island was purgatory, she was a fighter.

Melanie Stryder in The Host by Stephenie Meyer - No matter how hard Wanderer tried, Melanie would not go quietly.

Sophronia Temminnick in the Finishing School series by Gail Carriger - Sophronia is a 14 yr old bad@ss who always stays on the side of good even though it might turn out all wrong but end up so right.

Even though I admire Michonne and would like to think I would end up toting a katana and being the baddest bad@ss at bad@ssery... I'm more modest to admit that I'm actual more like Carol Peletier. I associate with her more and the decisions she has made. Sure they are hard but I think if it came down to it, I would burn those bodies, pull that trigger, and bake those cookies. I have kids so I know that if I was to lose them I would be hardened enough to do what I had to do to get the job done but be sociopath enough to play the chick next door keep everyone guessing.
