Here we go…
Blogfest; bloghops galore!
I was going around reading all the Spooktoberfest entries and I think 85% of them had Tim Brannan’s Monstrous Monday Blogfest all over ‘em.
So I did the only thing a good blogger would do – I hopped on over to see what all the fuss was all about.
I’m so glad I did. Lately during [Jackie and my] Express Yourself meme we have been sticking with the Halloween theme and doing a lot of Monster or scary leitmotif ideas. Once Monstrous Blogfest jumped out at me I just had to part-take in it myself.
I can’t resist a good Monster romp!
The rules are simple:
1. Sign up.
2. Grab one of his buttons from his sites.
3. Post your Monster of choice today, Monday October 29th 2012!
That’s it.
Some of my faves and by faves – and I use that term loosely – I mean they scare me but I love them ‘cause they scare me.
Zombies
Insidious’ Red-faced Demon
Its' Pennywise
30 Days of Nights' Vamps
Jeepers Creepers' Creature
However the Monsters I want to highlight in today’s Blogfest are…
This movie freaked me out! Let me repeat… IT. FREAKED. ME. THE. FREAK. OUT! This movie is a MUST WATCH!! Mound-Walkers make my skin crawl and my stomach wanna regurgitate it’s lunch.
And then Nov. 1st Jackie and I will be posting the November Express Yourself Meme Banner!
Have a great Monday!
I'd love to see The New Daughter. With Connely you're always in for a treat.
ReplyDeleteMound Walkers!
ReplyDeleteI am loving this blog hop, so many new monsters to meet!
Great tribute!
I've never heard of those, but they sound wonderfully, terribly awful. eee! I get shivers just thinking about that movie (and I've never seen it)
ReplyDeleteThose monsters look like their faces are covered in blood! I must've inherited my dad's gene for horror movie love. My mother has always looked away or covered her eyes at the really good scenes.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I haven't seen this movie. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMound Walkers sounds super creepy. Nice list, zombies and 30 days...vamps do rock.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this monster before, but now I wanna see the movie. Super creepy! Excellent monstrous Monday pick.
ReplyDeleteOh my. No way can I handle mound-walkers. No WAY.
ReplyDeleteAnother new monster! They are coming out of the wood work with all the old monsters. Mound-Walkers looks so scary. Not sure I could handle it, lol! Thanks for sharing, Dani!
ReplyDeleteI have not seen this movie. I Am going to have to check it out!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining my bloghop, I really appreciate it.
Tim
Wow. This is really neat. I haven't ever read/seen this. My boyfriend and I are doing Halloween fright night week, and I'm going to recommend we watch this!
ReplyDeleteI never heard of this movie. Soudns pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI don't know this one either, but I'd be cautiously optimistic about it. 'Mound-walker' is a great name - simple but very suggestive.
ReplyDeleteGrrrr....I'm so bummed that I missed this blogfest. I love a good monster!! :) I like the ones you chose though!
ReplyDeleteWhen you told me about this movie on Saturday, you didn't mention that the pic of those things would give me nightmares! YIKES! LOL
ReplyDeleteEwwwww!!!! I'm not a fan of freaky! Gah. My hubs would love it though!
ReplyDeletehello! No thank you to a moundwalker (or what it looks like... which is 'sneezed on man') *shivers*
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen that movie. I do like a good creepy flick though :)
