**Also, coming this Friday, a post about the 3rd Annual Spooktoberfest, hosted by Cover Girls, will be posted!!
I liked IN THE END but I loved IN THE AFTER. I'd read that as an ARC ages ago and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen. :)
ReplyDeleteMadeline @ The Shellshank Redemption
Totally agree! I'm loving In The After way more than In The End so far.
DeleteHigh-schoolers ARE drama. LOL (Mine are 13, 13, and 16. Next year, I'll have 3 in HS at once! *shudders*)
ReplyDeleteI chuckled when I read the line about your muse. Kirsten over at A Scenic Route is having the same problem. She found hers, though. He was house-sitting for some billionaires in Hollywood. xD
Thanks for taking part in Follow Fest! :)
Wow it is nice meeting another fantasy lover. You know I completely spaced on J.K. Rowling when I was writing my post. I own all her books and read most of them...but it has been so long since I sat down and read them. Hmmm...must be time for round two :)
ReplyDeleteYour self-interview was so cute. With teens (and drama) in your house, I'm surprised your muse isn't inspired and being more helpful. Or maybe she's hiding! lol
ReplyDeleteI hope your muse comes back soon!!! I know I'm miserable when I haven't been able to write… what a fun fest. And loved reading this, Dani. :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Dani!!! You're very busy too! I recently met Demetria at a conference, very nice. I hear her books are very good, and right up my alley! Don't worry your muse will return!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an insightful post - thanks for sharing. I loved the FYI - so true, I've lived through it but only with one. Four!!! You deserve a medal.
ReplyDeleteYou are a busy blogger bee Dani. Thanks for giving us a little more about yourself.
ReplyDeleteWhen I read that you enjoy obstacle 5k challenges I immediately got winded! And that Walking Dead blogfest certainly sounds like fun. I hope your muse comes back soon:)
ReplyDeleteHi Dani! Hope the muse finds you again!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I had the chance to meet another fan of all things paranormal. I should be heading back into my writing cave right now, but you've made me want to decorate for Halloween instead!
ReplyDeleteLove your new avatar picture (I obviously haven't popped by in a while). Sounds like you're really busy with Cover Girls. Hope your muse visits again soon :)
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to my comment? I don't know what's with the blogs lately, but it's really annoying me. Not just yours, but others, and my own. I've lost a lot of comments on different blogs I post to. And my own, about the last month, it's like the spam filter stopped working and it's letting through all this crap. It used to be a really good spam filter. Not anymore.
ReplyDeleteOkay, rant over.
Um, what did I say the first time?
Oh. You're not writing now? I'm not either but it's cause I've got too much to revise. All these projects sitting there and if I don't edit, then nothing will ever get published. :(
Okay, let's try hit publish and see what happens. (I'm copying this comment though just in case it gets lost. :)
I just started high school drama in my house this year. It mixes interestingly with second grade and middle school (I'm the one in middle school--I teach).
ReplyDeleteAnyway, nice to meet you!
Zombie, huh? That sounds fun. Enjoy the Follow Fest.
ReplyDeleteHi Dani, I can't wait to read something of yours when you publish. I'm a big fantasy fan and I love paranormal as well!
ReplyDeleteDani, I wish I enjoyed running. It's slims me down fast whenever I do run, but I just don't enjoy it and neither does my knees. The knees seriously hate all the impact and pounding. Thanks for sharing information about yourself. It's nice to learn about you and your writing.
ReplyDeleteLoved learning more about you. I write and love reading fantasy too.
ReplyDeleteHope your muse returns soon!
ReplyDeleteNice to meet another fantasy and paranormal writer! Hope your inspiration returns soon!
ReplyDeleteI too have 4 children and a husband. Most of them are grown up but I have a teenager, who also happens to be a novelist. Love how your bio is witty and entertaining yet informative. Shows me I need to sharpen my skills in that way. Glad to have discovered you through Follow Fest. Have liked, followed and become friends in several of the places you shared in your interview. Looking forward to reading more of your blog posts.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great blogfest. It's nice to learn a little about you. I just discovered the blog fest today, but maybe tomorrow I'll post an entry.
ReplyDeleteWalking dead. I've been meaning to catch up on watching it. My sisters went to GA for the Zombie run. I couldn't. My imagination is just waaayyy out there. =) Nice to connect.
ReplyDeleteNice to get to know you. Does the middle school drama mellow by high school? My 12-yo is a whole drama troupe rolled into one. LOL.
ReplyDeleteIt was great reading about you and that's going to be an interesting blogfest.
ReplyDeleteHi Dani! Great to meet you through Follow Fest! Man, and I thought I was busy with two little guys! I'm awaiting the teenage years with trepidation!
ReplyDeleteGood that you're jotting ideas down. They will serve you in the future.
ReplyDeleteGreat to meet you through Follow Fest! I love fantasy, so I look forward to the day you're published.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to check out your co-blog too.
Hiya! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Off to check out your Walking Dead inspired blogfest.
ReplyDeleteHello! Great to meet you. (I couldn't find your About Me page.) I hope you pop back around later this month for my blog tour - 'cause I'm giving away my cookbooks.
