Yesterday, Bushman @ The High Cost of this Low Living commented that he was glad to see we are all getting Equally spammed. I say it's bs. These Anon's are killing me! - Just wanted to throw this in here.
Now on to the challenge!

See you all tomorrow!
I'm going to have to remember that poem-cute! Just curious, did you ready ENVY? And if so, how was it?
ReplyDeleteMr. Anonomous has been hanging out on my blog for about a year. He sends me two or three comments daily. That's why I have to approve all comments-a real pain but I don't want him to take over.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me. :) Your place looks interesting (and energetic) so I'm a new follower here and on Twitter!
That picture is so perfect for that poem!
ReplyDeleteOH, I love Shel Silverstein!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm with you on the anonymous comments. Some of them are funny, but most are just bizarre.
I love that poem!
ReplyDeleteI had to delete two more anonymous comments this morning. Ugh.
That's a Silverstein poem that begs to be read out loud.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorites, due in large part to the goblins.
ReplyDeleteI love your posts! The Silverstein poem is super catchy. I'm off to reread it.
ReplyDeleteGreat poem!
ReplyDeleteCreepy cover for sure! I definitely want to read it.
Great poem and picture
ReplyDeleteAww that's a lovely poem, it makes me want to go outside! And you're right, that does remind me of The Ring - there's something about long hair in horror movies!
ReplyDeleteEnvy is creepy. That cover gives me chills.
ReplyDeleteI like that poem. I never read Shel Silverstein as a kid, so whenever I see his stuff now, it's new to me.
ReplyDeleteI always get a lot of spam. I'm not getting any more than usual during the challenge so far.
Shel Silverstein is one of my favorites! Great piece.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not so into the creepy, but that poem is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteSpam? I haven't gotten any! Odd, seeing as how I always got it BEFORE the challenge. o_O
Terri
My blog is so lonely even Mr Anonymous doesn't bother me there, lol.
ReplyDeleteLove the blog post, :D Good luck with the rest of the challenge.

This poem reminds he of the first verse of the song 'Little Talks.' Wow that cover is super creepy. I planned to get this book long ago but didn't.
ReplyDeleteI love this poem.
ReplyDeleteI don't allow anon comments, so it's not a problem for me! I love Shel, even if he wrote from prison.
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed the poem, and thanks for sharing the blogs will take a look.

The poem and the picture are wonderful!
ReplyDeletecreepy cover for sure. I don't think I'll be reading that one. Love the picture to go with Shel's poem. I'm thinking about teaching it to my kids. They'd get a kick out of it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute poem! :)
ReplyDeleteAre you getting much anonymous comments? I had not gotten any. So unfair! Kidding. I changed my settings to no anonymous allowed. I fear I might have made things difficult for a few decent bloggers but I think it's the best, at least during the challenge. :)
ReplyDeleteI loved that poem! And Gregg Olsen does creepy very well.
ReplyDeleteNever really read Shel Silverstein. Now I want to buy one of the books for my nephews or me. Either way...fantastic.
ReplyDeleteAnd that Gregg Olsen cover is awesome.

Really great poem and picture!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend ;)
Thanks for listing my blog in your blog feature! I hate spam posts, that's why I turned off anonymous commenting. It's really helped cut down on that.
ReplyDeleteI love Shel Silverstein! Also, the cover of ENVY does look Ring-esque :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm not all that familiar with Silverstein, but I've heard of him. I like what I've seen, so far.
ReplyDeleteAww, I love that poem and pic! And I also love creepy so Envy captured my interest, one more for my TBR list.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Hahaha-heeeeheee-hoooohooooooo...
ReplyDeleteI loved the rhyme and the explanation too!! :))
Regards
~Kriti~
Fun poem. I love Shel Silverstein. I also love the creepy read suggestion--will have to look it up. :-)
ReplyDeleteSlithers of Thought (WR)
Sorry about all that spam. I enjoyed the poem, and then got delightfully creeped out by the ENVY cover. Cool!
ReplyDeleteFun post. :-)
what a cool pic and poem!
ReplyDeleteCover and poem are awesome!
ReplyDeleteI haven't issues with spam so far. Fingers crossed that it stays that way.
You called it; the book cover definitely looks like the Ring.
ReplyDeleteI've never read that one before. I love it. I'm going to print it and frame it and hang it right in my house. It fits me so well.
ReplyDeleteI don't allow anon comments either. Got something to say, register and speak up! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Dani, I went into the settings and used the option below allowing anonymous comments. I was getting so much of the stuff from the trolls that I drew a picture to remind myself to not feed or lash out at the trolls. In the end I got rid of the ability for them to leave anonymous comments. You can see my troll picture at this link http://devotionals-margot.blogspot.com/2013/03/dont-feed-trolls.html
ReplyDeleteLike the Silverstein and the pretty cover. I need to get over and see that site. Maybe I will head there next.
Blessings, Margot

Love the poem!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great poem.
ReplyDeleteI'm with ya- the spam is a pain :(
Another fantastic poem! I might have to write that one down somewhere.

ReplyDeleteLike your ghostly poem

I love Shel Silverstein! --And this yard sounds like mine. *shudders* Here's to better grounds keeping, eh?
ReplyDeleteLove the imagery of ain't no ceiling, only blue. Shel rocks! Loving your A to Z theme. Looking forward to F through Z.
ReplyDeleteYikes! That's a scary cover. I do quite fancy reading it, though. Those abandoned houses do seem to have character. We have one round the corner that's only half-built. Hey, you should disallow anonymous comments. It's one of the best things I ever did in terms of spam control!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh AWESOME!!!!!!!!! I'll be back to read the rest of your A to Z posts.

ReplyDeleteThis is one Shel S. poem I don't think I remember. But I like it!
