  5. It took me a moment to understand what was happening in the truck picture, but I probably would've screamed and killed myself running off the road. Can't win either way. haha

  6. Oh my goodness, that last pictures is horrible.

  7. Funny poem but I loved the cartoon more.
Decisions, whoa! There has been three times I had to make one second decision on the road. Still wondering how was it that I didn't have a heart attack.

  8. Excellent D's -- it took me a few seconds to "get" the Decisions poster, but when I did I yelped!

  9. That poster reminds me of that movie "Final Destination"....scary!

  10. So true about the day after Halloween. That poster is awesome.

  11. I had one of those last things happen once only with a metal rod.

  12. I would piss myself if I saw that tree coming at me! Good thing I keep clean underwear in the glove box

  13. Shel Silverstein has always been one of my favorites.

Lesson for today: never drive behind a logging truck.

  14. That is a scary poster. My husband drives a truck and he tells me never to drive behind or beside a truck. They lose their tires a lot, which can be just as scary as a log soaring towards your windshield.

  15. Oh, I love that Drought cover! Looks like an awesome book.

  16. I always say that the day after Halloween and Valentine's day are the best times to get candy :P It's probably a good time for decorations too!

Also, that is a legitimate fear of mine every time I drive behind one of those trucks O_O

  17. I don't know what bothers me more, the tree coming at the windshield, or that a person took the time to take a picture of a tree coming at the windshield. ;)

  19. Ah! I love Shel Silverstein! I think I must have re-read all of his books several dozen times as a child.

  20. I love Shel Silverstein, but that tree photo makes me shudder.

  23. Fun poem, striking cover, scary pic!

  24. Silverstein!!!!

And that pic reminds me of what happened to me today. Car in front of me suddenly hit the brakes and swerved. I was going to go around the car that had stopped in front of it, but the car behind me swung around me, boxing me in.

    Thank God I don't tailgate.

  25. You know I was wondering why sometimes poets say rhyming is not good poetry. Look at all the stuff SS does. To me, he's like the Dr. Seuss of kids poetry. If that makes sense. :)

  26. Another great poem by SS :) That poster is scary. If one could survive the ensuing wreck, that'd be one heck of a law suit.

  28. A great collection of Ds! (Even if the poster did make me gasp in horror.) I love that you're including blog shout outs with your A to Z post. Great idea! I'll check these out as soon as I've posted my comment. :)

  29. The poster made me laugh, but I would not want to be in that situation!

  30. That last image made me flinch! I'm glad no one saw me. ;)

  31. Enjoying your posts.

I hate following log trucks as I am always worried for that reason. I hope that it is a decision I never need to make!

  32. The decision pic is quite the eye grabber. Love the cover too and that eye.... Ha, that poem is a hoot.
