  2. Dude,

No messing around... I *abhor* going to the dentist.. stems from a 1985 incident with a chain-smoking dentist, a VERY large needle and my crushed two front teeth...

Let the darn Croc eat... that's what I say!!!

  9. You are definitely finding all the good poems. I've got 3 of his books and they're sitting out now, so I can show my kids when you post good ones. And good ones to a 8 yr old boy means ones like this. Crocodile eating a dentist. :)

  19. I'm a Silverstein fan too--Where the Sidewalk Ends is the book that I learn how to read with. I'd read the poems over and over until I was fluent and had many of them memorized--my favorite was 'Sick'.

  25. And may that be a lesson to all dentists who take that attitude to shoddy workmanship ;)

Ali Condi's book "Crossed" looks amazing. I have it on my TBR pile.

  38. The worst thing that can happen to me is having to go to the dentist. I'm like the croc, big mouth, too many teeth. Dragon dentists are scarce, though. I can't eat him.
