March EYM - Changes

Express Yourself  is a weekly meme hosted by myself and Jackie. It's goal is to help our fellow bloggers get to know one another better by being nosey of course.

Each week we will find something different to post about. It will correlate with writing, blogging, and life in general. Then, we hope, you’ll follow suit and post what it is that motivates you.

This weeks question:

Mar. 30 - Apr. 3: In the past year, what has been the biggest change for you?

I would have to say, myself. Nothing physical, I can only wish I worked hard to make my body look great!

But something change within me. I think I've finally found some part of me which I didn't understand before. An inner peace maybe, being happy, healthy, and humble with myself and life.

When this posts, I will most likely be sunning myself on the beach! Have a great Monday!

March 27: Five Movie Character Crushes
First off let me say, I've picked these character crushes firmly because I have the biggest crush on the actors themselves and who they portrayed sent me into a swoonado!
Shia LaBeouf - Fury (as Boyd Swan a.k.a. Bible)

Leonardo DiCaprio - Romeo & Juliet (as Romeo),
& Titanic (as Jack Dawson)
Gerard Butler - 300 (as King Leonidas)

Djimon Hounsou - Gladiator (as Juba)
A Knights Tale (as Sir William Thatcher/Sir Ulrich von Lichtenstein of Gelderland),
Heath Ledger - 10 Things I Hate About You (as Patrick Verona),
& The Patriot (as Gabriel Martin)

Which movie characters do you find swoon worthy?

Depending on when you are reading this today, I could be heading Florida to find me some sunshine! Have a great weekend!

March EYM - Life Advice

Express Yourself  is a weekly meme hosted by myself and Jackie. It's goal is to help our fellow bloggers get to know one another better by being nosey of course.

Each week we will find something different to post about. It will correlate with writing, blogging, and life in general. Then, we hope, you’ll follow suit and post what it is that motivates you.

This weeks question:

Mar. 23-27: If someone asked you for a piece of advice about life, what would you say?

According to my kids I have lots of advice... too much, so I'm told...

**Don't take life too seriously.
**It's ok to be different, being unique is better than being like everyone else. We weren't made to look alike so why should we all be alike.
**Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind. ~Dr. Seuss
**Accept changes cause they are a constant.

AtoZ Theme Reveal

Sign-ups for the 2015 A to Z Blogging Challenge are already under way. If you have done it before, you know how much fun it is, but if you have not, you should at least try once.

You can sign up to participate during the month of April, here.

When joining AtoZ, have you ever asked yourself, "Should I have a theme?"
Themes are not mandatory or needed if you are a panster, but if you're a plotter... I'd recommend it.

Two years ago, A to Z participant
Mina Lobo
started the Theme Reveal, and the fore"fathers" of AtoZ thought it was such a great idea to make it a tradition.

The forefatherspeople:

Arlee Bird @ Tossing it Out
Ninja Captain Alex J. Cavanaugh
Jeremy @ Hollywood Nuts
Nicole Ayers @ The Madlab Post
Author Stephen Tremp
Heather M. Gardner
AJ @ Naturally Sweet
Pam @ An Unconventional Librarian
Matthew MacNish @ The QQQE
Zalka Csenge Virág @ The Multicolored Diary
S. L. Hennessy @ Pensuasion
C. Lee McKenzie @ The Write Game
Joy Campbell @ The Character Depot
Susan Gourley @ Susan Says
John Holton @ The Sound of One Hand Typing
Lisa Buie-Collard, Author

Are you wanting to reveal your AtoZ theme too? Sign ups are found here.

My theme: 411

What is 4-1-1 you ask? Well the Urban Dictionary says: Another term used for "information". Hence dialing 411 for information.

Example: "I totally just got the 4-1-1 on the new girl."

Soooo, I'm gonna give you the 4-1-1 on:
  • 4 random words/descriptions/tools about myself,
  • 1 blog I adore so much I would like everyone else to follow (it's only 26 new amazing blogs to add to your list if you haven't already),
  • 1, 2015 novel.
  • Which all start with the letter of the day (Or close enough to it)!

Simple right?! Yeah, I thought so too.

That's the key; K-I-S-S - Keep It Simple, Stupid!
(Disclaimer, I'm not calling anyone stupid, it's only a saying.)

March EYM: Self-Proclaimed Expert

Express Yourself  is a weekly meme hosted by myself and Jackie. It's goal is to help our fellow bloggers get to know one another better by being nosey of course.

Each week we will find something different to post about. It will correlate with writing, blogging, and life in general. Then, we hope, you’ll follow suit and post what it is that motivates you.

This weeks question:

Mar. 16-20: Everyone has at least one subject matter they are self-acclaimed experts in (Ex: pop culture, monsters, robots, etc). What is yours?

I'd like to think I'm pretty well-rounded with a good amount of knowledge on pop-culture (zombies included), psychology, and several types of religions (though I'm not a super religious person).

But I think what tops the list is most likely mythology &/or survivalist.

March EYM - Occupation

Express Yourself  is a weekly meme hosted by myself and Jackie. It's goal is to help our fellow bloggers get to know one another better by being nosey of course.

Each week we will find something different to post about. It will correlate with writing, blogging, and life in general. Then, we hope, you’ll follow suit and post what it is that motivates you.

This weeks question:

Mar. 9-13: If you could try out any occupation for a week, what would you choose?

I've gone back-and-forth on this question in the past and I usually lean towards a psychologist but this time I think I'm gonna go with...

a Vet or at least a Vet Tech.

I've wanted to be a Vet since I was little but didn't want to hurt animals so I decided against it. But I would at least try it for a week.
